Why not wainscoting the living room with orange red color on the bottom and yellow on the top? Use the light brown as your wainscoting stripe. Use the light brown for the accent wall.
This sounds crazy, but it really looked good. I had a friend that wanted a rustic look for his game room. He went and got pallets used in shipping. You can find them at furniture stores and appliance stores for free. He cut them apart and used them “as is” for the wainscoting trim. I thought about this when you said you have a mexican accessories.

How much natural light do you have? A safe combination would be caramel on the walls, with the brown-orange-red as the accent wall color, and yellow as an accent for your accessories. I’m trying to imagine what color that brown-orange red is, and what color are your upholstered pieces? I’m guessing brown, so yellow on throw pillows, throws, and a few table pieces would add a punch of brightness against all the dark colors and neutrals. Try finding wall art with the 2 accent colors in them.
If your furniture is lighter like the caramel color, the darker brown-orange would be a bold choice on the walls with a yellow accent wall, if your room has enough light to pull it off, or if you like a dark room.
